Alaska Fishing Vacation Rates
2011 Fishing — 5 Day / 6 Night Packages
May – July ………. $3695.00
Five day package of fishing for halibut, ling cod, black bass, dollies, pinks, chums, and trolling for kings and silvers all within 10-30 minutes from the lodge. May and June remain the best for big king salmon. July 1 also opens the season for ling cod. Good time of year for spotting whales and photographing the abundant sea life. Salmon berries ready for picking too.
August and September ………. $3695.00
Stream or salt water fishing for silver salmon and deep sea fishing for halibut. This is typically the peak season for silvers and books early.
Here’s what is included in your 5 day 6 night Alaska fishing Lodge package price:
- Round trip transportation from city of Kodiak to the lodge
- Six nights accommodations at Port Lions Lodge
- Five days of fully guided fishing from the boat or in the stream (approximately 9 hours per day!
- The provided meals are home cooked and served family style. Breads and desserts are baked fresh daily. We specialize in Alaska seafood entrees.
- Salt water and spin fishing equipment is furnished.
- All fish are cleaned, packaged, frozen and boxed properly for flights back home.
Not included: fly fishing gear, fishing licenses (don’t forget the king stamp- we fish kings year round in Port Lions), waders, rain gear, alcohol, and gratuities. Many clients ask what the typical gratuity is at Port Lions Lodge. Average gratuities run 10%.
Shorter Packages……….. $739 per day
Here’s what is included in your shorter stay Alaska fishing lodge package price:
- Lodging the night prior to fishing
- Lodging the night/ nights of fishing
- Fully guided fishing from the boat or in the stream (approximately 9 hours per day!)
- The provided meals are home cooked and served family style. Breads and desserts are baked fresh daily. We specialize in Alaska Seafood entrees
- Salt water and spin fishing equipment is furnished
- All fish are cleaned, packaged, frozen, and boxed properly for flights back home.

* On shorter trips you will likely arrive and or depart on days that we are out fishing other clients. That will have our boats and captains tied up so they will not be able to come and pick you up at the Kodiak airport. This may require that you cross the parking lot at the Kodiak airport and take a quick 15 minute shuttle flight from Kodiak City to Port Lions where you will be picked up at the Port Lions air strip. Approximately $50 pp. Please be sure to arrange for this service in advance and let us know your flight time so we can be there to pick you up at the air strip!

Policies:
Fuel- In the event that fuel prices in Port Lions exceed $4.00 per gallon we reserve the right to add a fuel surcharge. We will do our best to inform you prior to your trip.
Cancellation- If your trip is canceled in writing prior to 90 days of your start date we will refund you. We will retain 5% as a booking fee. If your trip is canceled within the 90 day window of your start date we will refund you if we are able to fill your vacated space. We will retain 5% as a booking fee. We will also work with you to attempt to reschedule your group to a later date that works for both you and Port Lions Lodge. We highly recommend Travel Insurance to protect your vacation dollars.
Weather- If your trip is delayed or canceled at the last minute due to weather we will make all attempts to reschedule your group to a date that works both you and the Port Lions Lodge. Transportation delays and or days deemed unable or unsafe for boating due to weather will not be refunded. We will make efforts to ensure you have plenty of time on the water or will attempt to make those days up at a later date if schedules for your group and the Port Lions Lodge allow. We highly recommend Travel Insurance to protect your vacation dollars.
